At Feroz we make our shoes close to home because how we do it matters. We don't choose the cheapest path: we choose the one that lets us take better care of the product, work better with the factory and do things with more meaning.

Close, to keep better control

Our shoes are born in Portugal, very close to home, in a specialist factory that is part of our everyday life. Being this close lets us follow each model from the start, improve every detail when needed and care for the process with the same attention we put into the design.

Close, to be consistent

If we talk about respect, it also has to show in how we produce. Respecting feet, processes, the people who make our shoes and the impact we leave along the way is also part of being Feroz.

Making close to home isn't only a question of kilometres. It's a way of working that lets us produce better, react sooner and only make what makes sense to make.

Proximity

We make our shoes in Portugal, around 520 kilometres from our warehouse in Madrid, because being close changes the way we work. It lets us visit the factory, understand the processes and build a real relationship with the people who make every pair.

Agility

Working close by lets us test, adjust and improve quickly. We can try out new ideas with short production runs, learn from every launch and correct things before making large quantities.

Less storage

When you produce close by and in shorter cycles, you don't need to fill warehouses "just in case". That helps us reduce surplus, move product better and make more responsible decisions season after season.

Mindful production

We don't believe in producing for the sake of it. We'd rather make what we really need, adjust quantities better and avoid piling up unnecessary stock for months.

Collaboration

Our relationship with the factory isn't about sending a design and waiting for boxes. We work hand in hand, sharing lessons, improvements and challenges so that each model turns out better than the last.
