Shoes breathe too. Coolmax®

Los zapatos también respiran. Coolmax®

Today we are going to reveal the secret ⚗️ hidden within the Coolmax® fabric that we use in the linings and insoles of our shoes! 🌟

It is a specially breathable fabric that allows shoes to breathe 😮‍💨, wicking sweat away from the feet to the outside of the shoe, keeping feet drier.

And so that the little ones at home can easily understand the secrets of science, here we offer a super simple experiment. 🧪

You will only need two t-shirts 👕, one made of cotton and one made of technical Coolmax fabric (or a technical sports t-shirt), and a desire to move.

1️⃣ First, try on the cotton t-shirt. You need to move your body a little bit to get it going.
How about you run around the living room doing the 🐒 jumping monkey dance?
You'll see how your body warms up and starts to sweat.

That's what we want!

2️⃣ The idea is to repeat the same test with a breathable technical t-shirt and discover the differences.

🤓 Analyze the child's body sensations and the state of the t-shirt together.

🧪 Probably, the cotton t-shirt will get damp, perhaps weigh more than before putting it on, and you will feel hot and clammy. And with the breathable technology of Coolmax®, the t-shirt will surely be drier, and they will feel fresh and light.

🧑‍🔬 Why does this happen? The magic of Coolmax® lies in how the fabric is made. The threads that form the fabric are made with special fibers designed with channels 🧬 that allow them to transport sweat. They act like a magnet, absorbing sweat from the skin and quickly moving it away from our body, transporting it to the outer surface of the fabric, where it quickly evaporates on contact with the air, keeping the body cool and dry.

Have you noticed that your feet are never still? Even when we are at rest, our toes keep moving. They never stop sweating, and it is important that shoes are able to wick away some of the sweat. With the Coolmax lining and our breathable microfiber, perspiration can be channeled outwards.

👁️‍🗨️ However, sweat in the insole often gets trapped inside the rubber sole. It is advisable to remove the insoles when you get home to help them dry overnight.
