For ten years, we were Zapato Feroz. Today, we are Feroz.
This change does not stem from a need to become another brand, but rather to better express everything we already are. Our project has grown, just as the little ones have grown, as have the families who accompany us and our way of understanding the world.
We haven't changed. We have grown.

An identity that began to feel too small
Zapato Feroz was born from a very familiar need: to find footwear that would support the natural development of a child's foot without interfering with it.
From the beginning, we had a different perspective. A way of working based on respect for childhood, free movement, and scientific knowledge, supported by professionals and experts who helped us better understand how feet grow and develop.
Over the years, that initial intuition has only been confirmed, strengthened, and expanded.
Our previous identity explained our origin very well, but it began to feel too small to convey everything that drives us today: autonomy, families, the body, conscious production, and that way of accompanying without directing or taking over everything.
We didn't want to become someone else. We wanted the brand to express more clearly everything we already were.
We shed the "shoe" to keep what's essential
Going from Zapato Feroz to Feroz allows us to broaden our narrative without losing our roots.
We still come from the foot, because that's where balance, movement, and autonomy begin. But Feroz also allows us to talk about childhood, adults, families, and a more conscious way of moving through the world.
We removed the "shoe" from the name to keep what's essential.

The new logo reflects the same evolution. It is clearer, more direct, and more mature, yet it retains the approachability that has always been part of the project.
We weren't looking for an aesthetic break or to leave our history behind. We wanted to build a cleaner, more recognizable identity, ready to accompany us for the years to come.
A new way of telling who we are
Rebranding isn't limited to the name or logo. We've revised our entire visual and verbal identity: colors, fonts, photography, packaging, the website, and our communication tone.
But perhaps the most important change is in how we communicate who we are and why we do what we do.
What moves us sums up this new phase very well.

Childhood moves us, because we believe that's where a more human way of inhabiting the world begins.
Families move us, in all their forms: those who accompany, support, listen, and also learn.
And the body moves us. Its natural capacity to explore, make mistakes, discover, and grow when given the necessary space.
Looking forward without forgetting where we come from
Feroz is a more mature version of Zapato Feroz, but it maintains the initial intuition with which everything began:
To accompany without taking over everything.
To design without imposing.
To grow without losing consistency.
This new phase also means embracing our responsibility with greater clarity.
Making shoes has an impact. That's why we want to continue manufacturing locally, choosing materials more carefully, producing thoughtfully, and making decisions that allow us to grow without losing our purpose.
We manufacture in Portugal, close to our team and many of our suppliers, because we believe that how things are done matters as much as the result.
A natural evolution, not a change of course
This change in identity is not a drastic transformation of our business line, but a logical evolution.
We were born for and by babies. Then we grew with them, and today we offer barefoot footwear for the whole family.

We will continue to care for feet as always. We will continue to create flexible, lightweight shoes with real toe space, designed to accompany the body's natural movement.
For now, we do not plan to expand our activity beyond footwear. Although growing also means maintaining curiosity and not completely closing the door to what the future may bring.
Zapato Feroz explained our origin very well.
Feroz allows us to talk about the entire journey.
We are still Feroz
We still believe in childhood as the origin.
In children as capable individuals.
In families as that place from which one accompanies, supports, and learns.
We also believe that things can be done differently and that, as a company, we can provide real value to families beyond selling shoes.
We continue to advocate that moving freely matters.
Because growing is not about getting there sooner, but about doing it with more body, more presence, and less haste.
For ten years, we were Zapato Feroz.
Today, we are Feroz.
And we still know very clearly what moves us.
